My Story
Louretta is a composer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist from Duesseldorf. Her work navigates between downtempo electronica, electro-acoustic and sound art. With live looping techniques—including Modular Synthesizers, Ableton Live, tape loops, vocal effects and looping pedals—she builds soundscapes that serve as a direct translation of her emotional landscape. As an intermedia artist, she pairs sonic textures with self-made visuals, creating performances that blur the boundary between pop concert and immersive art experience. Her approach goes beyond conventional music-making, allowing her to record and play back sounds in real-time in ways that mirror the complexity and fluidity of human feeling. This methodology has led to performances for example at festivals like Blaues Rauschen in Essen or WELTKUNSTZIMMER Düsseldorf, where audiences encounter not just tracks, but explorations of her inner world.
